Carolyn D. Thierry CEO
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CAROSE ADVOCACY SERVICES has over 17 years of experience retired with the California State Department of Rehabilitation. She also has dedicated over 42 years of working with individuals with disabilities. She holds a Master Degree of Science in Counseling with a concentration in Vocational Rehabilitation, a Bachelors Degree in Health and Human Services, and Associates of Science in Early Childhood Education.
Mission Statement:
CAROSE ADVOCACY SERVICES mission is to provide access and secure resources and services for vulnerable populations including individuals with disabilities and their families, and to assist them with thriving successfully in society no matter their economic status or disability.
Vision:
CAROSE ADVOCACY SERVICES aims to promote improved well-being, independence, self-advocacy, and dignity for the target population consisting of individuals with disabilities and their families through life skill awareness and direct support with accessing and obtaining services and supports. The need for advocacy services stems from challenges and impediments that individuals with disabilities and their families experience because of their impairments, lack of knowledge and awareness, and limited access to available community resources, services and supports. Services within the scope of CAROSE ADVOCACY SERVICES seek to positively enhance the lifestyle of individuals with disabilities through providing access to and securing services and supports including but not limited to career expansion, personal and social adjustment, evidence-based and person-centered care, individualized education and employment care planning and training, promotion of entrepreneurship opportunities, and public awareness of community resources.
